Over the weekend, two of the best high school football teams in Chicago got into a fight. Chicago Public Schools and the Illinois High School Association are trying to settle the dispute.
After the final whistle blew on Saturday in their game at Lane Stadium, 2601 W. Addison St., a number of Morgan Park High School and Kenwood Academy players started fighting. This was the end of an ugly game in which several coaches and players were kicked out for unsportsmanlike behavior.
Coaches from both teams quickly apologized and accepted responsibility for the incident, Charlie De Mar of CBS 2 reported.
One of the best games of the season was supposed to be between these two teams. However, the game is now being remembered for the wrong reasons, of course.
