Charges have been filed against a man who was wanted in connection with the murder of rapper PnB Rock.
According to LAPD, Freddie Lee Trone was taken into custody around noon on Thursday. His wife and 17-year-old son were already in the custody of the police.
While having dinner with his girlfriend at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles in south Los Angeles, PnB Rock, whose real name is Rakim Allen, was shot and killed.

According to LAPD Chief Michel Moore, “Allen was brutally attacked by an individual who, apparently, we believe… came to the location after a social media posting of the artist and the woman accompanying him.”
One count of murder, two counts of second-degree robbery, and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery were brought against Trone and his adolescent son. After the fact, Shauntel Trone was charged with one count of being an accessory to the killing.

Freddie Trone will be returned to Los Angeles via extradition.
In a statement, District Attorney George Gascón said, “The murder of Mr. Allen dimmed a bright light in the lives of his fans, friends, and most importantly his family.”Mr. Allen’s talents were taken from the world by the alleged actions of the accused in this case, which were heartless and cruel.
