According to TMZ Sports, the San Francisco Police Department is not investigating the incident and had no involvement in it. Shocking video shows Draymond Green viciously punching Jordan Poole to the ground in the middle of a team practice.
It is obvious that Green and Poole are at odds since you can see them verbally and physically attacking one another. Green approaches Poole and confronts him. Poole shoves Green away by placing two hands on his chest. Poole is sent to the ground and might have been knocked out cold by Green’s devastating right cross to the face, who is 6’6″ and 230 lbs.
Poole is then pulled away by teammates and coaches as Green stands over him. Poole appeared to be fine since he kept practicing and making shots on the court.
Later, Warriors General Manager Bob Myers appeared to downplay the situation, saying, “These things do occur. No one enjoys it. Although we don’t support it, it does occur.” Then he continues, “Draymond expressed regret to the group. Jordan was present in the room; any suspensions, fines, or other sanctions will be handled internally.”
Regarding the cause of the altercation, Stephen Curry called a story that Poole’s attitude changed during contract negotiations “total BS” and refuted it.
