On Chicago’s South Side, a man was arrested for allegedly shooting and killing a 25-year-old woman.
The shooting took place in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood in the 800 block of West 82nd Street.
Police say that on Wednesday, 45-year-old Eugene Arnold III was taken into custody after he shot and killed the female victim just hours earlier.
Arnold was accused of first-degree murder. Saturday is his bond hearing.
On October 26, 2022, 25-year-old Rickisha King was shot and killed in the 800 block of East 82nd in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.In the past few days, two young women have been murdered.
