According to prosecutors, a man living in a suburb is suspected of shooting and killing his wife on Halloween.
Timothy Gordon, 46, of Montgomery is accused of two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a FOID, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, domestic battery, and aggravated assault. Additionally, he is charged with two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
On October 31, at approximately noon, Gordon is said to have shot his wife, Yajaira Gordon, who was 35 years old, in the head.
She succumbed to her wounds and died.
The shooting occurred within the confines of their home.
The amount of bail for Gordon was set at $3 million.
The first of December is set aside for his first appearance in court.
