The Holiday Lights Parade will run through downtown Springfield beginning at 5:30 p.m. on December 3, 2022, with locals lining the streets.

This popular and historic Christmas light parade first took place in 1949 and has been running continuously since 1972.

This year, the route will start on Jefferson Street, then move to 5th Street, then Monroe Street, then 6th Street, and finally Washington Street.

This parade, like any good parade, includes fantastic floats, marching bands, and a variety of other forms of entertainment. Businesses will be there to support themselves, as well as other local teams and organizations.

Each float and display that passes by will be illuminated to make it as bright as possible. Guests can watch the parade for free.

Every year, the parade includes both traditional floats and displays that everyone expects to see as well as new additions.
