Parker, Francis W. Officials say a bomb threat forced the evacuation of a school in Lincoln Park.

According to an email sent to parents and guardians, a bomb threat prompted an evacuation at a North Side school on Monday.

According to the email, which was sent at 12:51 p.m., all students, faculty, and staff were evacuated from Francis W. Parker School in Lincoln Park “out of an abundance of caution” following a “unsubstantiated” threat to the campus.

According to the email, the school’s security team indicated that the threat originated outside of the United States.

Parents and guardians were asked to pick up their children at the Lincoln Park Zoo, according to school officials.
