A van stolen from a funeral home in Rockford over the weekend was discovered in Chicago, but the body inside is still missing, according to Rockford police.
According to police, the van was stolen on Saturday with a deceased adult inside.
The van was eventually discovered in Chicago. According to Rockford police, the body found inside the van has yet to be found.
“We are working with our Law Enforcement partners to continue the search,” Rockford police said on Twitter.
