On Monday, a gunshot was fired on a moving Chicago CTA train after a verbal altercation between two passengers.
Police say a 25-year-old man was on the train traveling southbound in the 200 block of W. Garfield Boulevard around 5:22 p.m. when he got into a verbal altercation with another man.
According to police, the second man pulled out a gun and fired a shot at the victim, but missed.
Nobody else was hit by gunfire, and the perpetrator fled the scene.
The investigation is still going on.
