In McHenry County on Thursday, a suburban man was charged with possessing child pornography.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about Justin R. Griletz, a McHenry resident, who was suspected of possessing child porn.
Officials said Justin R. Griletz was arrested on Friday and charged with child pornography dissemination, two counts of child pornography possession (Class 2 Felony), and one count of child pornography possession (Class 3 Felony).
Prosecutors have stated that they intend to file additional charges in this case.
Griletz is being held at McHenry Jail on a $300,000 bond.
Griletz is due in court on February 28.
