Early Saturday morning, an 18-year-old man was shot inside a home on Chicago’s West Side.
According to police, a witness heard shots fired around 1:40 a.m. in the South Austin neighborhood.
The victim was discovered with a gunshot wound to the torso inside a residence in the 5900 block of West Rice Street.

He was airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition.
According to police, no one involved in the incident is cooperating with the investigation and is refusing to answer questions.
There have been no arrests. Area Four detectives are looking into it.
