The Waukegan Police Department is looking into a shooting that occurred in a parking lot on Friday evening.
A man in his twenties from North Chicago was discovered with gunshot wounds in the 1400 block of Golf Road around 5:40 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by the Waukegan Fire Department, where he is in stable condition.
According to police, the victim was most likely specifically targeted.
There have been no arrests. The investigation is still going on.
