Three juveniles are facing charges after crashing a stolen vehicle on Chicago’s South Side.

On the city’s South Side, three male juveniles were injured in a crash involving a stolen vehicle.

The incident occurred around 9:18 p.m. Thursday in the Chatham neighborhood’s 8300 block of South State Street.

Officers arrived to find two vehicles involved in the crash. According to police, a red sedan traveling northbound on 83rd Street collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound on the same street.

According to police, the striking vehicle was later identified as stolen. The three male juveniles inside the vehicle were apprehended and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital and St. Bernard Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.

The other vehicle’s driver was not hurt.

Charges are pending.
